Gun Safety Class

This group is for individuals who have a desire to learn about gun safety, shooting and personal defense. Occasionally, we go to the shooting range for a couple hours. All are welcome to come and learn with us.

One of our first goals is to host a CCW training day. This is the class which is necessary to attend so as to attain the proper credential to procure a Concealed Carry Weapon permit in the state of Iowa.

Other endeavors/goals of the group:

• Safe handling of weapons (cleaning, lube, assembly/disassembly)

• Knowledge of different weapons/systems

• Tactical/defense training

• Hunting tips

• Accuracy Proficiency training

• Sport shooting: cowboy, bulls-eye and skeet
